- Jose Garcia Added December 24, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ☆It was nice just being there. We spent most of our time at one of the beaches having a little picnic. Think next time we'll have a wander around the island, but it would've been a long walk with young children.

Sadly I was only here for 2 hours but would love to stay here overnight for 1 or 2 nights as there is alot to see, mountains to climb and a general peaceful relaxing feeling on the Isle.
The Isle has shops for basic goods, a historic Abbey with alot of information but needs a pre-booking if busy, a historic nunnery and St Orans cemetery that is home to alot of famous names that are buried there.
Also farm animals to see including sheep, goats and Highlands coos! - Fiona Mullen Added December 14, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Very lovely think it be more nice on a sunny day . Very busy though even in September feel sorry for the locals but I'm a visitor so sorry locals shame to see a cafe at the ferry shut hope they open soon . Beautiful place and a worth trip experience . Thought the calmac was expensive as took other ferry's with calmac more cheaper . We went to the beach where the golf course is but no facilities . We had the beach to ourselves take u walking boots its a hike . Fionophort beach is also stunning if u can't get the ferry over to iona but take 20p if you need the toilet at Fionophort.
